The Silverado Children's Center is an NAEYC naccredited child development center serving the canyon communities of Silverado, Modjeska and Trabuco and is just minutes away from the cities of Orange, Lake Forest, Portola, Tustin, RSM and Mission Viejo.
Our annual Chili Cook-Off fundraiser is to help us "CREATE A LEGACY" for our community by working together with families to rebuild and repair the two playgrounds at the Silverado Children's Center. A panel comprised of prominent members of the community, media representatives and possibly a few local politicians, will decide which chili competitors deserve the prize!
Come spend the afternoon with us at beautiful Irvine Lake on April 18, 2010, taste the chili and vote for the best! Visit craft and vendor booths while enjoying several wonderful musical guests. There will be children’s dance shows, games and activities, great food and beverages. Tour the lake by boat or foot and bring your friends and family! This is a favorite family event you won’t want to miss!
